Sustainable farming is when you have to limit the use of chemicals, pesticides, and genetically modified seeds used on the land. These things negatively affect the plants’ and animals’ health on the farm so they are less healthy for people to eat. When farming sustainably, animals are treated kindly and taken good care of. Animals get to roam freely and are fed a better diet to avoid illness. Tractors are used to make farming easier, but because of the pollution they cause, their use is limited. In conclusion, I feel that farming sustainably is an interesting way of growing fruits and veggies and raising animals; sustainable practices support all parts of the ecosystem.

To farm sustainably here are major ways you should care for your plants and animals.
- First thing is do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides because they are not natural and hurt the environment. Also, they may not be healthy for animals or humans.
- Use resources wisely.
- Limit the use of large machinery that pollutes the air.
- Always keep your animals (If you have any animals) on the same pasture before moving them so they get the different nutrients from the different grass types. If you move them too quickly or only feed them one thing, they won’t have as much muscle or fat.
- Enrich the soil by adding manure. When animals leave waste on the land this helps fertilize the grass that animals need.
- Also it's best not to grow one plant because they strip the nutrients from the soil that you used. Instead plant multiple plants which will take and put back different nutrients.
- Provide a wide area with Sun and space for animals to roam.
